In lieu of any prattle that would contribute nothing to recent events, I offer a bit of a reprieve today. 

It occurs to me that we have perhaps two generations of people in America who have lived their entire lives without the special joy of going to bed in sheets that have been dried in the sun. If that applies to you, I truly wish I could give you that experience. It’s one of the joys of my life that I was able to experience this simple pleasure.
