I can vote for Kamala Harris! OMG, what a relief. 

I remember when I was not that impressed with her. If we’d been allowed to have an open primary, maybe someone else would have outshone her. But right now I think she is the one! The only! The absolute best person to replace Joe Biden on the ticket!

I’m chuckling at all the grumbles coming from the right-leaning press and online media. But, but the Dems are forsaking democracy (NO!) or she has all these limitations (so what? Look at the opposition) or she’s a DEI hire and isn’t where she is on her merits (seriously, look at the opposition). Question: who would you rather look at for the next four years? I’ll take gracious, smiling, sincere Harris over Orange Man Bad any day. 

I’m confidant I’ve never been more relieved over a political even in all of my nearly 80 years (yes, coming up soon, folks) than when Biden stepped down and endorsed Harris. There are lots of good VP picks, so she’ll run with someone good, I’m sure. And JD Vance? Seriously?

Will Kamala Harris support things I don’t? For certain. But, know what? I’ll send letters and join forces with others to oppose certain policies. I’ll do all those things that free people can do to support policies I care about and oppose those I don’t like. Would I rather do that work with Harris as President than with Orange Man Bad as President. Oh, my goodness, yes. YES!
