Hey, folks, nothing like a Thanksgiving Holiday to get juries to finish their business. I’ve read a bunch of articles about both the Kyle Rittenhouse trial and the trial of the three people charged in the killing of Ahmaud Arbery. It is my opinion that most of the left-leaning media got it wrong regarding Kyle Rittenhouse, and I’ll sum up my criticisms of that coverage with this nice mash-up. Before you listen to it, consult a map that shows both Antioch, IL and Kenosha, WI just so you’re well oriented.

As for the Ahmaud Arbery trial in Georgia, I’ll bet many of you have bought into the “systemic racism” belief and that you were surprised by the guilty verdicts. But, I watched most of my dad’s family gradually let go of their racist beliefs during the 50s and 60s, I watched Georgia elect two Democratic senators in 2020, and I know that millions of people in the US have changed during my lifetime. So I would not have guaranteed the guilty verdict, but I also was not surprised given the facts of the case as it was presented to jurors.

My words of wisdom on this Thanksgiving eve: Don’t believe everything you think. And Happy Thanksgiving.🦃 May you emerge healthy and Covid-free.
